Knitting Burnout

i am so tired of things that do not fit. my olympic sweater wasn't the best fitting sweater i have made. my latest tank top sucks as well. my jaywalkers? don't fit over my ankles. so they are banished. i think i will go start my test knitting (heh. here i am complaining about published patterns not working, and i'm gonna go knit something not even completed by the designer yet. teehee. but i love the designer. so off i go!!)

i feel your pain :-( I've been having issues with making socks fit recently, I guess that kind of thing comes with experience (and I don't have enough, apparently!)

Ah, but you see, by test knitting an incomplete design, you get to have a say in how the design fits when completed. >:)

Ah, Helen!!! I love my socks! :) Thank you so much--they fit better than the pair & a half I've made for myself, even. *grin* I'll take a picture tonight and get it up on my blog. Whee! This was fun. Oh, and I have actually knit with that very yarn before! Crazy. I knit matching Java-a-Go-Go cup sleeves for myself & my SP last year. I'll make sure to dig it out when I take my pic of the socks.
p.s. Email me and tell me about that gorgeous Vogue sweater. Did you do the zipper in the neck, too? Wowza.
