booooooga booooooga!

before and after of booga bag. as you can see, it didn't shrink all that much, still has stitch definition. most likely will not felt with Kureyon again. now it needs a shave and i am planning a nifty lining to make this purse/WIP holder.

Very very nice. I love the colours and the thinner stripes. Is that an I-cord handle, or did you do something different?

Nice bag!

I'm working on Mariah right now (I saw your post on the mariahalong group), and I just finished the Booga Bag. I also used Noro Kureyon, and I had to felt it twice to get the definition of the stitches to fade. The instructions say to felt three or four times, and I think that 3 gets the best results if you knit it up on 10.5 needles. I used some size 11's felting some Lite Lopi, and that bag felted up really well in one cycle.

Good luck finishing up the Mariah!

I love the colourways of the bag. I've always found that Kureyon felts 1st time, no stitch definition at all. Isn't strange! Perhaps UK washers are different. But it is still a smashing bag :0)

I love that colorway. Do try a few more runs through the washer if you aren't happy with the result. You can toss some jeans in, too, and set the washer for Heavy Duty agitation. I haven't done Noro, myself, but some yarns just take more abuse before they comply.
